Exhibition „Collected Time“ – Marita Czepa

Dear friends of the ROOT Gallery,

I cordially invite you to the vernissage of the exhibition „Collected Time“ by Marita Czepa on Monday, 28th September 2026, at 6 pm to the ROOT gallery.

In her exhibition, Marita Czepa shows drawings that deal with Traces of the past, with memory, use and preservation employ.

At the heart of the matter are found objects from her series „Archaeology of the future“. The works raise questions: What remains of our present? What do we preserve? And what might future generations one day recognise in the things we leave behind today?

In the process, everyday objects in particular, such as a PET bottle, a net, a balloon or a decorative item, become potential testaments to our time.
