Vernissage "Perspectives"

Dear friends of the ROOT Gallery,

I cordially invite you to the Vernissage of the exhibition "Sichtweisen" with works by Ute Wöllmann and Andreas Amrhein in.
The opening will take place on Sunday, 2 November 2025 at 5 pm in the Gallery ROOT, Schillerstraße 34, 10627 Berlin.

This exhibition brings together two artistic positions that illuminate the concept of perception from very different angles:
In her expressive paintings, Ute Wöllmann deals with social themes and brings them to the canvas using bold colours and a dynamic style. Andreas Amrhein, on the other hand, resorts to narrative means - his pictures are populated by figures, symbols and quotations from pop culture.

What unites them is the desire to artistically explore the visible and what lies behind it - a dialogue about visual language, narrative and the present.

• Wednesday: 10-13 h

• Thursday: 12.30-13.30 & 14-18 h

• Saturday, 8 November: 10 am - 6 pm

• Saturday, 15.11. & Sunday, 16.11.: 12-19 h each day
