Vernissage "Secret Garden"

Dear friends of the ROOT Gallery,

I cordially invite you to the vernissage "Secret Garden" on Monday, 13.11.23 at 6 pm with paintings by Juliane von Arnim. At 6.30 pm there will be an introduction to the exhibition in the form of an artist talk with Juliane von Arnim.

The exhibition has already been set up and can be viewed during the opening hours of the ROOT gallery:

Tue, Thu from 8.30 - 12.30 and 13.30 - 17.30 ; Fri 8 - 12 (The ROOT gallery is closed over the turn of the year from 18.12.2023 - 7.1.2024).

With the pictures in the exhibition, Juliane von Arnim gives us a neo-impressionist view of gardens and the splendour of flowers. She reduces the flowers and leaves to round, oval shapes and weaves these thoughtfully and clearly applied patches of colour over many layers into a shimmering thicket of colour in which the hues seem to float. Like a stroll through a summer garden, the eye wanders through the picture and lets its gaze wander here and there. Painting celebrates itself and celebrates a festival of colours!

In the dark, wet and cold season that now lies ahead of us, a "Secret Garden" in the ROOT gallery is in full colour and invites you to linger. I cordially invite you to do so. Tell others about it!
