Bettina Lüdicke processes industrial bronze and copper wire into corporeal yet transparent spatial sculptures.
The millimetre-fine, linear material is used in the artistic process by Lüdicke winding it many times, crossing it and fixing the points that form into knots.
The result is almost dematerialised spatial structures that create the most diverse forms of "lightness" on the one hand and enclose the space on the other.
Inside and outside are thus placed in relation to each other and intertwined.
A sculptural space is formed in the viewer's imagination.
Colour, light and shadow expand into a network in and around the object.
