In the exhibition "Zuwachs", Manuela Tirler's graphic line frameworks of the sculptures, in the reduced colourfulness of the steel used, enter into a dialogue with abstract oil paintings by Christoph Primm, a colourful painting that has grown and condensed over many layers and is presented with great painterly verve.

The exhibition title "Growth" triggers a multitude of associations with condensed, organic structures and growth processes. Manuela Tirler draws inspiration for her art from the diversity of forms in nature. Her works fascinate through a close but alienated relationship between art and nature. The closeness and distance of what has grown and been created in form and materiality are the theme or playing field of many of her works. The impression of lightness in her works stands in stark contrast to the heaviness of the material used.

In Christoph Primm's work, the "growth" is created in the composition of countless layers of colour which, when laid on top of each other, document the organic growth process of a picture.
