Poetic language condensed painting // Exhibition extended

Dear friends of the ROOT Gallery,

the current exhibition "Gedichtete Sprache verdichtete Malerei" with paintings by Ute Wöllmann will be extended up to and including Friday 30 July. 

In the meantime, the extensive 98-page catalogue (with poems by Gerhard Falkner, Michael Spyra and poems and texts by Ute Wöllmann) for the project "Gedichtete Sprache verdichtete Malerei" has arrived! And the sculptures by Ursula Commandeur have been installed in the exhibition.

The exhibition is open on the following days:

• Tuesdays 20.7. + 27.7. 8.30 - 12.30 and 13.30 - 17.30
• Thursdays 22 July + 29 July 8.30 a.m. - 12.30 p.m. and 1.30 p.m. - 5.30 p.m.
• Fridays 16.7., 23.7. + 30.7. 8.00 - 12.00 and 18.00 - 20.00 each day

Finissage on Friday 30 July at 6 pm: Poetry reading with Ute Wöllmann

The last days at the old location at Hardenbergstraße 9 are numbered. The countdown is on!

The ROOT gallery will be closed in August and September 2021 and will open on Thursday 30 September at 7 pm with a vernissage with paintings by Ilka Schneider and sculptures by Ursula Commandeur at the new location: Schillerstraße 34 , 10627 Berlin
