4 July - 10 July 2022 at Lake Attersee in Austria<\/strong><\/p>\n

In the 160th anniversary year of Gustav Klimt's (1862-1918) birth, the Berlin gallery ROOT is launching its fourth tour in the \"ROOT on the road\" project. During his summer holiday at Lake Attersee, Gustav Klimt mainly painted landscapes and developed a very special style.<\/p>\n

This year's plein-air painting tour at the ROOT gallery follows in the footsteps of his motifs. Participating ROOT artists are Irmgard Bornemann, Marita Czepa, Sabine Kybarth, Christoph Primm, Aruna Samivelu, Ilka Schneider and Ute W\u00f6llmann.<\/p>\n

Plein air painting actions: From 4 July to 8 July 2022, the seven artists will be travelling across the country in a car trailer to visit ROOT artist Ingeborg Rauss, who lives in Sch\u00f6rfling am Attersee and is joining the project there. They organise public plein air painting events in Sch\u00f6rflingen, Seewalchen, Litzlberg and Weissenbach.<\/p>\n
