\nArtist talk on Saturday, 9 April at 1 pm with Regine Jankowski
\nto the ROOT gallery.

\nRegine Jankowski creates acrylic collages and uses them to thematise colour in space. She creates colour spaces via the colour itself and as such by piling up the colours into haptic reliefs with sculptural and even realistic forms. The colour seeks its own boundaries in the works and creates its own expansions into the space: the colours pulsate in the depths of the pictorial space or jump directly into the viewer's face, puddles of colour flicker along the edge, a transparent picture carrier holds the colours in suspension.
\nAn exciting endeavour and an innovative approach to acrylic paint, about which we will certainly learn a lot of background information in the conversation with Regine Jankowski.<\/p>\n
