Since then, it has established itself as a place for contemporary art beyond the<br \/>established in the mainstream. The gallery has been a member of the regional association since 2012<br \/>Berlin galleries. In 2014, Ute W\u00f6llmann took over the space at Carmerstra\u00dfe 11 on Savignyplatz and developed an exhibition concept based on crowdfunding for the first time with \"Hot Sunday\". From January 2015 to August 2022, the ROOT gallery resided at Hardenbergstra\u00dfe 9 (front building, 2nd floor) in Berlin-Charlottenburg - diagonally opposite the University of the Arts (UdK).
